NBC Sports’ motorsports coverage this weekend is led by the NASCAR Cup Series at Michigan International Speedway on USA Network on Sunday, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES at World Wide Technology Raceway on USA Network and Peacock, and Pro Motocross from Budds Creek Motocross Park exclusively on Peacock on Saturday.

NASCAR: CUP SERIES FIREKEEPERS CASINO 400 and XFINITY SERIES CABO WABO 250

Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan, hosts the NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 on USA Network this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET. A 30-minute Countdown to green Live coverage of the race begins on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. ET on the USA Network.

With only three races left in the regular season, 2021 Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson (779 points) is in first place in the Cup Series standings, closely followed by Tyler Reddick (-5), Chase Elliott (-6) and Denny Hamlin (-21). Chris Buescher won the race in Michigan last year. Austin Dillon won the race last weekend in Richmond, but NASCAR withdrew his playoff eligibility for the win due to his contact with both Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin on the last lap.

Coverage from Michigan begins this Friday on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app with Xfinity Series qualifying at 3:30 p.m. ET, with Cup Series qualifying presented Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on the USA Network.

NBC Sports’ coverage from Michigan includes members of the broadcast team embedded in Ross Chastain and Trackhouse Racing’s No. 1 team, and Harrison Burton and the No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing team during Stage 2, highlighting the teamwork and contributions at all levels needed for a successful day on the racetrack.

21-time Cup Series race winner and “Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton and crew chief of the Daytona 500 winner Steve Letarte will serve as an analyst for the Cup and Xfinity Series races from Michigan this weekend with NASCAR race commentator Rick Allen. Marty Snider, Dave BurnsAnd Parker Kligerman will act as pit reporters.

Snider will host pre-race coverage alongside Burton and the NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrettwith follow-up coverage coming from Snider and Jarrett, who won four times at Michigan International Speedway during his career (1991, 1996, 1999, 2002).

NBC Sports, the official home of the NASCAR championship and playoffs, will present the final 20 NASCAR Cup Series races and 11 NASCAR Xfinity Series races in 2024 on NBC, USA Network and Peacock, with the championship culminating at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 9-10. INDYCAR: BOMMARITO AUTOMOTIVE GROUP 500

The NTT INDYCAR SERIES heads to Madison, Illinois, for the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET from World Wide Technology Raceway on USA Network and Peacock. Pre-race coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock.

With only five races left, the reigning INDYCAR champion Alex Palou (411 points) leads the 2024 points table, followed by the two-time series champion Willpower (-49). Scott Dixon, Colton HertaAnd Pato O’Ward are in third, fourth and fifth place and are separated by only 18 points. Scott McLaughlin won the race at WWTR last year.

The NBC Sports INDYCAR commentary team Kevin Lee (move by move), Townsend Bell (Analyst) and James Hinchcliffe (Analyst) will commentate on this weekend’s races. Dillon Welch And Georgia Henneberry will report from the pit lane on Saturday and Sunday.

PRO MOTOCROSS: BUDDS CREEK NATIONAL

The penultimate race of the 2024 Pro Motocross Championship season continues this Saturday with the Budds Creek National at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania at 1 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock. A replay will also air Sunday at noon ET on USA Network.

There are still two races left in the regular season. Chase Sexton (407 points), last week’s winner in Unadilla, leads the 450cc class points standings, followed by Hunter Lawrence (-28) and Aaron Plessinger (-88). In the 250cc class Haiden Deegan (408 points) is at the top of the standings and can claim his first Pro Motocross 250 title this weekend with a lead of 75 points after Moto 1 or 50 points after Moto 2.
